Our work in one-on-one counseling sessions is guided by your unique needs and often promotes self empowerment, self-advovacy, life planning, and mind/body wellness. When working with individuals, our purpose and primary goal at Threshold is to provide a safe space for you to share your story, reflect on your life, and set goals that will help you reach a greater level of happiness and a truly fulfilling life.

Group Therapy
Group counseling seems intimidating to some, but is truly transformative. In group, six to eight members meet regularly to interact, connect, learn, and heal by discussing problems and emotional concerns with one another and the group leader. At Threshold, we offer groups on specific topics, so there is a high level of commonality between members and what they are struggling with. Groups provide support and a safe space where you may realize you are not as different or alone as you think. We run groups on a variey of topics, some of which include:

- Caring for the Caregiver
- Women’s Empowerment
- Career Transitions
- Academic Transitions
- Elementary to Middle School
- Middle School to High School
- High School to College
